a smile can hide so much

it’s so depressing to look at old pictures and see how skinny i used to be, the clothes i used to fit. now im a fat lazy old hag. boooo. college. but at least i guess it gives me some encouragement to start working out again. once finals are over, and im not dying. hopefully next quarter i can go to gymnastics more often. ive missed like a month of gym this quarter. laaame.

ok, so im supposed to be doing my math hw, and then working on a practice chem final. i promise, i’ll get to that soon…. im just so not in the mood. this week and next week suck ass. but hey, 10 more days, and then im coming home!

i cant wait! winter break, hurry your butt over here! 3 more days of regular classes, then its studystudystudy for finals.

one of the things im excited for for winter break, besides seeing my TAIT and my Vbabytwinn, and all those kids back at doan’s room, and besides seeing our ninja boss himself and having a TAC date, and besides having a much-needed pod reunion, and besides having a fun class of 2010 doanies reunion (ohlord, sorry. i didnt mean for there to be so many ‘besides____’), i can’t wait to see my mom’s kids again!

i see the picture of them in my room, everyday. i miss them a lot. who would’ve thought that i could miss 28 little 7-8 year old munchkins. i actually started missing them the first day of school, when i realized that i have to wake up and go to my own classes, instead of waking up and going to school with my madre. i don’t miss yelling at them to do their work, but i miss their energy. they were always so happy to see me, made me feel loved.

anyways, on the monday after i get back, melissa lew is going on a second grade field trip!!!! and im finally old enough to be a chaperone! ahahha. ok, im being weird, so i’ll stop. but i just wanted to mainly say that im procrastinating on my work because im distracted by my excitement and anticipation for winter break. i wish finals and exams and all that bullcrap didnt exist. what happened to learning just for the heck of it?

today is not the only day to be thankful; its just a day to remind people that they should be thankful, just in case they forget somehow. you should be thankful for everything you have everyday. i know i am. i also know that i probably don’t show or acknowledge my appreciation for life, love, family, and friends, as much as i should. im not gonna write a special thank you to everyone important to me because then i fear people would feel left out that i forgot them, when really, i just have a crappy memory. but i just wanted to spend a few minutes telling tumblr and anyone who actually read my posts, that i am thankful for them. i am thankful for every single person who has touched my life. without you, i wouldn’t be who i am today. in a weird way, i also wanna thank college. college has taught me so much already, and no, im not even talking about academic stuff. i have learned that i have so much. coming back home as often as i do, i realize how much i miss my family, how much i love my family and appreciate everything they give me. this year, i’ve learned how fortunate i am for everything that i have, and that’s what im thankful for.

on a side note, i hope everyone stuffs their faces until their bloated! :D enjoy all the food and the love you’re surrounded by. make the most of this holiday season, and be thankful for what you have.

p.s. i can’t wait till winter break. everyone should be home by then!!! and us cool college kids (at least the UCs) get 3 weeks! im too excited :DDDDD
